Simpson’s Marc Willmore dies at 57


The Simpson’s Marc Willmore dies at 57 after contacted and battling Covid-19.

The death of Emmy Award winner was confirmed, on social media by his brother, Larry Wilmore who is also a comedian, writer and producer.

Larry on his Twitter page wrote, ” My sweet sweet brother, Marc Edward Wilmore, passed away last night while battling covid and other conditions that have had him in pain for many years. My brother was the kindest, gentlest, funniest lion of an angel I’ve never known. I love you, little brother.”

Marc in 2002 joined the Simpsons writer staff where he won the Emmy as the producer of the episode “Eternal Moonshine of the Simpsons “

His fellow Simpsons writer Micheal Price took to his Twitter account and remembered his colleague, he wrote; ” Another giant talent taken too soon. I had the privilege to work alongside Marc Wilmore on 3 shows (PFS, Simpsons, FIFF) for the better part of the past 23 years and he was THE funniest person in every room. And a wonderful man. He is irreplaceable. Rest in Peace, my friend.”
