Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz has taken to his social media to fault the police arrest of Mr Macaroni and other protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.
The Nigerian rapper and actor noted the government’s order as shameful as some of the arrested protesters were taken to an unknown location.
“What a shameful behaviour? Are these people insane? Citizens are peacefully protesting and they are arresting. They don’t want peace,” Falz tweeted
The rapper who was also active during the #EndSars protest continued to express his displeasure on the massive arrest on the citizens by saying “Macaroni has been picked up, the Nigerian government basically saying they do not want peace oh. I am tired of just coping. I am tired of just managing. This is a fucking shithole we are living in and we simply cannot continue like this.
“They are using this threat of force and violence because they expect that we would naturally fear for our lives, but the life we dey live no kuku get meaning before,” He tweeted.
“How is this supposed to solve the problems they have already caused?”, he questioned.
The Federal Government had expressed disdain towards the #OccupyLekkitollgate, frowning at the event to hold and after warning the youths to desist from the protest, engage the Nigerian Police.
