Sanni Goriola Wasiu ‘M’, popularly known as Lil Frost has been remanded as Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun of the Lagos Magistrate court in Yaba ordered his remand at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre for putatively assaulting his model girlfriend Okeoghene Iyomaterie.
It was gathered that the 18-year-old musician was invited by the police at Alagbon on Thursday, February 4, 2021, for questioning.
The alleged assault said to have taken place last year got Sanni getting arraigned at the Chief Magistrate Court 1 of Yaba on a home-court charge at Yaba.
The former DBW singer pleaded not guilty as the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Lagos State waded into the case and he got arraigned.
Sanni’s court case was then adjourned to 9th of March 2021 as the Court ordered his arraignment while advising him to bring an application for bail.
“We have waited for this arraignment for long and we have been able to surmount all the obstacles. This has further reinforced our belief that no one is above the law. FIDA will always see to it that justice is done at all time”, the Vice President of Fida Lagos who is also the Chairperson of the Litigation/ADR Committee, Barrister (Mrs) Chinwe Ejobi said.
