Nollywood Actor, Jude Chukwuka has dropped a love ballad at this season of love. The song, which is a Cover for Vector’s love song, Early Momo, was released on Monday in Lagos Nigeria. He said it expresses love for his heartthrob, Mira, who was featured in the track.
Jude Chukwuka is known as a veteran actor, but little is known about his musical talent. A glimpse of this was seen a few years ago when he did the rendition of Naira Marley’s Mafo on social media, a video which went viral and got him the knick name, Marlian Father. He also did renditions of songs by Wizkid, Davido, and Vector himself following their lyrics so perfectly.
Speaking to our reporter, Jude said he is coming out fully as an artiste with Early Momo and Dundee, which was released some weeks earlier. Dundee is a political public enlightenment song that is very relevant to this time of electioneering. In the plan are other artistes’ songs he would do their covers and also feature the likes of 2Baba, Face, Olamide, QDot and many more.
Early Momo was released with the support of St Lauren Sparkling Fruit Drink which sees the potential of a benefiting partnership with the artiste. According to the Brand Manager, Oluseun Mudashiru, St Lauren is the best brand for this love song as the artiste speaks to love.
Speaking on her participation in the song, Mira said Jude drew his attention to the song and makes her love it; she loves the lyrics of the song, how it made them feel and she just couldn’t avoid being part of it.
