The Super Falcons of Nigeria played their opening match on Saturday 8th of June 2019 in the on going FIFA Women World Cup in France.
They played against former Champions, Norway and lost 3 goals to nil.This came as a disappointment to the Nigerian fans who felt the team is not at its best. It is however expected that there will be an improvement in the second match and the Super Falcons will do well in the tournament.
